History of Coffee

History of Coffee

Coffee plants were first discovered in Ethiopia by the Kaldi's .The Kaldi’s observed the goats that ate  the coffee beans and discovered this powerful bean which wouldn’t let the goats sleep at night and made them energetic . Coffee beans later in the 15th centuries became a trading product starting from the Arabian Peninsula ,  spreading through Europe , arriving in Venice in 1615 .Coffee was first called “the black beverage” or “Arabian wine” when it spread from Mecca.  It was later called by the Europeans “bitter invention of Satan” for the energetic way people became .Soon Europeans substituted coffee drinks with other breakfast drinks because people could start their journey more active and efficient .
